SCHEMES OF WORK

SCHEMES OF WORK

One of the requests from a few Heads of Music in a feedback session was to create an easy way to integrate our professionals short video topics into a teachers Schemes of Work. The suggestions for the topics were Composing and Different Career options but we felt we could extend this great idea to include Performing, Education and the Business of Making a Living.
You can add these 10 minute additions to an existing schemes of work or make it longer.

We have a starter slide to introduce your students to Creative Pathways. Students watch short videos on an AV performing artist and a video games composer and are then guided on how to log in. They are set a task to search their interests, choose one of the careers that interests them, watch and then feedback to the class. They are asked to give a brief overview of the career and explain about something they have learnt that they did not know before.

This is so easy to set up. Simply share the URL with your class or get them to choose the page from the Schemes Of Work menu.
